Bulk Actions
This post is also available in: Deutsch
In this article:
Overview
Bulk Actions allow you to perform an action on multiple cards at once. See how to select cards that will change their status, be archived, or deleted in an instant. Don’t waste your time clicking around.
Bulk Actions work with:
Changing card statuses
Changing card lists
Adding labels
Changing the responsible user
Changing the start date
Changing the due date
Archiving cards
Bulk Actions can be performed on a grouping. The action you select will be applied to all cards in that grouping. Learn how to select specific cards for bulk actions.
Performing Bulk Actions on cards
To perform a Bulk Action on cards:
- Open the space with the Kanban view, or List view.
- On the selected grouping, go to More (the three-dots menu button).
- Select
Card Bulk Actions.
- Select the action you wish to perform.

Refining the card selection
It is possible to narrow down the selection of cards by filtering them.
The filter option allows you to narrow down the group of cards. Simply enter the desired parameter, such as the assigned user. Cards that do not meet the conditions will disappear. Only visible cards will participate in the Bulk Action.
Example: Zahariah Plant is on sick leave. We want to transfer his current tasks to another person. We set the filtering to user Zachariah and in the “Doing” grouping we change the person responsible for the cards.
Performing Bulk Actions on card containers (subcards)
To perform a Bulk Action on subcards:
- Open the parent card.
- On the selected card container, go to More (the three-dots menu button).
- Select
Card Bulk Actions.
- Select the action you wish to perform.
Example: We can perform Bulk Actions on the cards in the card container inside the parent card.
FAQ
Can I assign one user's cards to another user?
Yes, you can select card grouping by users and use Bulk Actions to change the person responsible for all these cards.
Can I manually select the cards I want to see in a space?
You can use card filtering to hide unwanted cards. You can archive no longer needed cards. You can also hide subcards or parent cards using the display settings. There is also an option in the Mind Map view to select specific cards and add them to the space.
