Exporting Space Views to Excel
This post is also available in: Deutsch
Space is the new name for the board.
Coming soon with the KanBo 3.0 version!
In this article:
Overview
You can export a space to a CSV file and then open it in Excel. Space will appear as a table with card details.
Example: KanBo space imported to Excel. Each line is another card.
You can easily print the space prepared in this way.
The Excel table will contain information about:
- Card ID
- Card name
- Status name
- Status role
- Responsible
- Co-workers
- To-do items
- Custom fields (Lists, Labels)
- Start date
- Due Date
- Late (YES/NO)
- Completed (YES/NO)
- Completed date
- Completed by
- Created date
- Created by
- Card link
We can narrow down the number of exported cards using the filter settings. For example, we can select cards with a specific user. Only visible cards will be exported.
If you need to export a card from another space as well, add it to the space as a mirror card.
Exporting spaces to CSV files
Pay attention to the space view filtering settings. Only information about the cards visible in the current view will be exported.
To export a space:
- Open the space.
- On the space top bar, go to More (the three-dot menu), and then select Export space to CSV.
