KanBo and Microsoft Teams Integration
This article is directed to users of cloud environments.
In this article:
Overview
Integrating KanBo with Microsoft Teams combines the project management capabilities of KanBo with the rich communication features of Microsoft Teams. By bringing these two essential tools together, you can collaborate without having to switch between applications.
KanBo’s integration with Microsoft Teams ensures seamless collaboration by synchronizing workspaces with teams, and spaces with channels, thus allowing users to join related KanBo environments effortlessly. Files added to a Teams channel appear in the corresponding KanBo space and vice versa, ensuring consistency and easy access across platforms.
Additionally, documents created or edited in KanBo cards are immediately updated and accessible in both Teams and SharePoint, enhancing real-time collaboration.
Example: Space documents are available in the corresponding Microsoft Teams channel. Their source is in the corresponding SharePoint library.
Integrating KanBo with Microsoft Teams enables the creation of new workspace types and space types. Without such a connection, you can only use private workspaces and standard spaces.
You need the M356 Teams license to use KanBo with Microsoft Teams. Contact your admin for this permission.
