Opening KanBo through Microsoft Teams
This article is directed to users of cloud environments.
In this article:
Overview
Nothing prevents you from using KanBo through Microsoft Teams. That way you can work with cards and spaces as you normally would.

Example: KanBo with the Green Week space opened in Microsoft Teams.
Adding KanBo shortcut to sidebar in Microsoft Teams
In order to use these features, your administrator will need to install the KanBo Teams app.
To add a KanBo shortcut in Microsoft Teams:
- On the left side of Microsoft Teams, select the plus icon “Apps”.
- Select Built for your organization apps category.
- On the KanBo.TeamsApp select Add.
Then you can open KanBo by selecting the KanBo icon on the left sidebar.

Keep a shortcut to KanBo handy. You can pin it or move it to a higher position in the sidebar.
You can also add a specific KanBo card or space as a tab in a channel.
To move the KanBo shortcut to different position:
- Drag a KanBo icon, and move it to another position.
To pin the KanBo shortcut to the sidebar:
- Hover over the KanBo shortcut, then right-click to open the menu.
- Select Pin.
