Sharing Microsoft Teams Messages and Posts as Notes in Cards

Overview
Chat messages and posts in Microsoft Teams channels can be shared in KanBo as notes in cards. In this way, you can instantly forward the content of the message along with details like the author and the date it was sent.

In order to use these features, your administrator will need to install the KanBo Teams app.
Sharing chat messages as notes in KanBo cards
To share a Microsoft Teams chat message as a note in KanBo:
- Open Microsoft Teams application.
- On the left sidebar, go to Chat, and then select the conversation.
- Hover over the selected message, go to More (the three-dot menu), and then select Share to KanBo.

- On the popup window, select the specific card* where the note will appear (select space > select card, or paste a direct card link).
- Select Share conversation.
You can also share the message as a newly created card. Just select a space, but leave the card selection field blank.

If the message is a reply, both messages are forwarded to KanBo.
Sharing Microsoft Teams posts as notes in KanBo cards
To share a Microsoft Teams post as a note in KanBo:
- Open Microsoft Teams application.
- On the left sidebar, go to Teams, and then select the channel.
- On the channel top bar, select Posts.
- Hover over the selected post, go to More (the three-dot menu), and then select Share to KanBo.

- Select the specific card* where the note will appear (select space > select card, or paste a direct card link).
- Select Share conversation.
You can also share the post as a newly created card. Just select a space, but leave the card selection field blank.

If any comments have been added to the post, they will be included in the KanBo note. The note will also include a direct link to the post in Microsoft Teams.
Example: A confirmation that the post has been forwarded to KanBo is permanently displayed below the post in Microsoft Teams Channel.
