A local card blocker is a type of card blocker that exists only locally in the space. Every space user can see it and add it to a card.
There are also global card blockers and space users can add it to cards too. The difference is that the use of global blockers is supervised at a higher level, and they should address broader issues. Therefore, if you need a blocker that only makes sense in that particular space, use local blockers.
In a space, you can use local, global, and selected on-demand card blockers.
Local card blocker – this type can be created, deleted, and edited by the space owner. It exists only locally in the space.
Global card blocker – exists in every space in KanBo.
On-demand card blocker – can be added to the space by space owners.
Every card blocker can be further specified using a description.
Creating local card blockers

Open the space.
On the top bar, select More (the three-dot menu) > Settings > Blocker types.
On the Local section select + Add, and then enter the name of the blocker (and optionally description).
Confirm with the Add button.
Add a description so that users have no doubt in which cases they should use the blocker.
