Overview

Resource Management is a large module that contains sensitive data. Therefore, access to its resources is multi-level. Space related data is managed by the space owners, who are responsible for running the Resource Management and Time Tracking tools in the space.

Resource Management and Time Tracking must be enabled separately for each space, but first they must be activated in KanBo

In addition, to run Resource Management and Time Tracking, the space owner must have the KanBo license type specified below.

Enabling the Resource Management and Time Tracking in KanBo

Only users with the Setup KanBo role can activate the Resource Management and Time Tracking in KanBo.

To activate the Resource Management module in KanBo:

  1. On the Sidebar select  Resource Management.
  2. Go to Basedata Settings.
  3. In the General tab, check the option Enable Resource Management.
  4. On the Time Trackig tab, check the option Enable Time Tracking.

Enabling the Resource Management in spaces

Only space owners with the Basic/Enterprise/Strategic KanBo license can activate the Resource Management Module in the space.

To activate the Resource Management module in a space:

  1. Open the space.
  2. On the space top bar, go to More (the three-dot menu), and then select  Resource Management >  Settings.
  3. In the General tab, check the option Enable Resource Management on this space.

Enabling the Time Tracking in spaces

Only space owners with the Basic/Enterprise/Strategic KanBo license can activate the Resource Management Module in the space.

To activate the Time Tracking in a space:

  1. Open the space.
  2. On the space top bar, go to More (the three-dot menu), and then select  Resource Management >  Settings.
  3. In the Time Tracking tab, check the option Enable Time Tracking.
