Crews
In this article:
Overview
Similarly to other resources, we assign a subsidiary, location, and work schedule to the crew. A unique option is availability. We can choose whether or not to consider the availability of the resources included in the crew.
Creating crews
You must have the Enterprise/Strategic KanBo license, the Human/Non-Human Resource Manager role, and be the subsidiary manager to add leave time types to create a crew.
To create a crew:
- On the Sidebar, select
Resource Management.
- Go to Basedata settings.
- From the menu on the left, select Crews.
- Select + Add new crew.
- Enter the name.
- Select the subsidiary. Keep in mind that a different set of resources is assigned to each subsidiary.
- Select the location and work schedule.
- Select the start date and the leader (mandatory fields).
- You can manage the availability of a crew according to the percentage availability of its resources. Check Always available or specify when you want the crew to stop being available.
- To add resources, select + Add new resource.
- Add job roles and skills.
- Confirm using the Add crew button.
Editing crews
You must have the Enterprise/Strategic KanBo license, the Human/Non-Human Resource Manager role, and be the subsidiary manager to add leave time types to edit a crew.
You can edit a crew at any time.
To edit a crew:
- On the Sidebar, select
Resource Management.
- Go to Basedata settings.
- From the menu on the left, select Crews.
- On the selected crew, go to
Details.
- Make changes.
- Confirm using the Save button.
Deleting crews
You must have the Enterprise/Strategic KanBo license, the Human/Non-Human Resource Manager role, and be the subsidiary manager to add leave time types to delete a crew.
To delete a crew:
- On the Sidebar, select
Resource Management.
- Go to Basedata settings.
- From the menu on the left, select Crews.
- On the selected crew, go to
Delete.
