Overview

Official Holidays is a base data feature defined for Resource Management that is not assigned to a specific subsidiary.

Each resource has an assigned location, which has associated official holidays. Locations can only be assigned to one of the official holidays that apply in the region.

Example: The Official Holidays section in the Resource Management module.

By assigning specific holidays to locations and then locations to resources, we can see which resources are available on specific days. If resources are unavailable on a particular day, it is marked with an X.

Example: The first of May is an official holiday for our location. No resources will be available that day.

Default official holidays

In the beginning, we have only one default location with the default holidays. All resources are assigned to it.

We can create more locations and assign resources to them. However, we must remember that each resource can be assigned to only one location, and each location can have only one official holidays assigned to it.

Each resource can be assigned to only one location with specific official holidays.

After the creation of additional locations, we can transfer resources to them that were previously part of another location.
