Resource Managers
In this article:
Overview
Each resource, both human and non-human, can have one or more managers. The resource manager is responsible for allocating its time among spaces. More specifically, the resource manager makes decisions about incoming allocation requests. They need to review the request, and then approve or deny it.
The only information the resource managers have access to is the distribution of a particular resource’s work time. They cannot edit the skills, leaves, or any other resource data. To access this data, they also need the Human/Non-Human Resource Manager KanBo role.
Depending on whether the resource is time-based or unit-based, users need an Enterprise or Strategic KanBo license, respectively, to become the resource managers.
You need the Enterprise/Strategic KanBo License to be a manager of time-based/unit-based resources.
My Resources section
The resource managers have the My Resources section, where they have a view of the usage of the resources to which they are assigned. This section has its own notification system for each incoming request.
Example: Notifications are displayed next to the Resource Management module icon on the Sidebar.
Learn how to use the My Resources section.
