Subsidiaries
In this article:
Overview
A subsidiary is a part of a larger company or an entity within a corporate group. Resources are bound exclusively to a particular subsidiary. It means that each user or equipment should be assigned to a specific subsidiary. This ensures data security and clear accountability for resources.
Human and non-human resources are assigned to subsidiaries. Subsidiary resources are controlled by the manager of a subsidiary. Accordingly, the subsidiary manager can add users, crews, equipment, and materials to them.
The important information is that a subsidiary can have multiple managers, and a user can be assigned to multiple subsidiaries as their manager.
Only managers of a subsidiary can view and manage its resources.
Managers can navigate through the Resource Management – Basedata Settings section. Here they can add and edit the details of the subsidiary resources.
Example: The resource view of a Green Company subsidiary.

Each resource can be assigned to only one subsidiary.
We can transfer resources that were previously part of another subsidiary to the new subsidiary after it is created.
