Subsidiary Managers
In this article:
Overview
Resources are assigned to subsidiaries. Subsidiary resources are controlled by the manager of a subsidiary. Accordingly, the subsidiary manager can add users, crews, equipment, and materials to subsidiaries.
Only subsidiary managers can view and manage the data of resources assigned to that subsidiary.
Subsidiary managers can navigate through the Basedata Settings section. Here, they can add and edit the details of the subsidiary resources.
Example: There is a drop-down menu in the Resources section because a single KanBo user can be a manager of many subsidiaries at the same time.

Assigning managers to subsidiaries
You need the Resource Admin role to edit the subsidiary basedata.
To assign a manager to a subsidiary:
- On the Sidebar, select
Resource Management.
- Go to Basedata settings.
- From the menu on the left, select Subsidiaries.
- On the resource, select
Details.
- On the Manager(s) section, select the user icon
, and then select a user.
- Select Save.
Removing managers from subsidiaries
You need the Resource Admin role to edit the subsidiary basedata.
You cannot remove managers from a subsidiary if they are still managing resources for the subsidiary you want to remove them from.
To remove a manager from a subsidiary:
- On the Sidebar, select
Resource Management.
- Go to Basedata settings.
- From the menu on the left, select Subsidiaries.
- On the resource, select
Details.
- On the Manager(s) section, select the manager and then select
Remove.
- Select Save.
