Managing KanBo Roles

Grant or revoke a role to user

Learn how to give roles to users and allow them access to new areas.

Every user can have multiple roles granted.

To grant a role to a user you must have the Roles Assignment permission.

  1. Go to KanBo Settings.
  1. Select Users.
  2. Hover over a user and select more button (three dots).
  3. Press on Roles.

Now you can select which roles you would like to assign to the user.

  1. Tick the boxes next to the roles.

Remember that every user can have multiple roles granted.

This is also a place where you can revoke the roles from users.

Manage role access

See users who have particular roles assigned.

  1. Go to KanBo Settings.
  2. Select Users.
  3. Press more button.
  4. Select Manage user roles.
  1. Enter a role and see which users are equipped with it.
  2. Hover over a user and press more button (three dots).
  3. Select Remove role from user if needed.
