KanBo Setup
Overview
The first time you open KanBo, you will need to begin the setup process. It will be displayed automatically when you access KanBo for the first time. You can also open it within KanBo (Config) or by adding “/setup” to the end of your KanBo URL.
For example: https://YourKanBoURL.com/setup.
The Advanced Setup menu lets you manually configure settings and check your license information.
Installation
The setup appears on the first launch of KanBo after installation in:
After completing the KanBo installation, you will be redirected to the setup page.
- Select Start simple setup.
- The KanBo setup will proceed automatically.
- Wait until it’s finished, then you’ll see the license ID for your installation. You’ll need that to request your KanBo license.
KanBo Config
Once KanBo is installed, you can access the setup directly from KanBo.
To access KanBo Setup, you need the Setup role.
To enter KanBo Setup:
- Go to KanBo.
- On the Sidebar, select your avatar >
Settings >
Go to KanBo Config. - Select Start simple setup.
Advanced Setup
The Advanced Setup menu allows you to manually configure settings or check your license information.
To open Advanced Setup:
- Select Show advanced setup.
- The advanced setup page will appear, and you will be able to view your detailed license information.
- To return to KanBo, select Exit.
