User Presence Indicator
This post is also available in: Deutsch
The user presence indicator is a small dot located in the lower right corner of the user’s avatar. Its color indicates the current availability to other users in KanBo.
The user presence indicator has two states:
- Green – if the user is actively working in KanBo.
- Gray – when the user is currently away.
The presence indicator will turn gray when logging out or after 15 minutes of inactivity.
See also a more advanced feature which is the card presence indicator.
FAQ
How does the presence indicator work?
The dot below the user’s avatar turns green if a user is actively working in KanBo, and turns grey after 15 minutes of no activity.
How can I know if someone is present in the card at the moment?
When someone is present in a card and sees actions with you, the indicator around their avatar blinks blue in the card activity stream. It is the card presence indicator.
Will I get a sound notification if I am inactive for more than 15 minutes?
Yes, KanBo provides real-time notifications as long as it remains open in your browser.
