In this article:
Overview
Once your card is no longer actual, you should consider archiving it. Archived cards are located in the space archive, but there is no difficulty in restoring them.
Example: Archived cards are marked with gray and white diagonal stripes.
Archived cards are available in the space archive and can be viewed by any space user.
Example: Archived cards can be viewed but cannot be edited.
By default, archived cards disappear from the space view to allow users to focus on their current work. However, nothing prevents you from displaying them.
Example: Archived cards can be shown or hidden in the space view.
Archived cards can be displayed in a space along with other cards. Use display settings to show archived cards.
Space archive
To open the space archive:
- Open the space.
- On the space top bar, select More (the three-dot) menu, and then select Archive.
Use archive search to find the desired card. The results will show all cards with a query in the card name. If you need a more advanced search, use KanBo Search and limit the search scope to your space, select cards, and “is archived” option in search filters.
