Creating Spaces
This post is also available in: Deutsch
Space is the new name for the board.
Coming soon with the KanBo 3.0 version!
In this article:
Overview
Spaces are created in workspaces. Before you start, make sure you know which workspace you want the new space to be a part of.
The creation of a space varies depending on the environment in which your KanBo is installed (cloud or on-premises).
Only workspace owners can create new spaces.
Create a new space
To create a new space in a KanBo:
- Open KanBo.
- On the Sidebar, go to Workspaces & Spaces.
- On the desired workspace, go to More (the three-dots), and then select + Add new space.
- Enter the space name, and go Next.
- Select the space color and avatar, then go Next.
- Choose if you want to connect your space with Microsoft Teams*, and then select Next.
If you want to merge the space with an existing MS Teams channel, choose the third option and find the existing channel by its name. The new space will have the same type, users, and document source as the channel.
