Managing MySpace Permissions

This post is also available in: Deutsch

Coming soon with the KanBo 3.0 version.

In this article:

Overview

You can invite your co-workers to MySpace and share your current tasks, their status, and priorities with them. Using MySpace makes your work visible, which might help others, i.e. managers can see the actual workload and planning in real-time from your perspective.

To view another user's MySpace, you must be granted access by that user.

To visit someone’s MySpace:

  1. Select the user’s avatar (anywhere in KanBo).
  2. Select MySpace.

Example: If MySpace is grayed out, it means you cannot access it.

Each KanBo user has their own MySpace and can decide who they want to share it with. If you are granted access, you will not be able to move cards on someone else’s MySpace. You can only see them as a visitor.

You can add another user's MySpace to Favourites.

Adding MySpace visitors

To give access to your MySpace to another user:

  1. On the Sidebar, select My KanBo > MySpace.
  2. On the top bar, select Users.
  3. Go to Add user, select the users you would like to give access to MySpace, and confirm with + Add selected.

Removing MySpace visitors

To revoke access to your MySpace to a user.

  1. On the Sidebar, select My KanBo > MySpace.
  2. On the top bar, select Users.
  3. Select the user’s avatar, and then select  Remove.
